If there is one common denominator that touches the life of every human being it is suffering. No matter the package it comes in sorrow and sadness occur in every person's life.
The death of a loved one, the betrayal of a spouse, the sting of rejection or mockery, the diagnosis of a serious perhaps terminal illness, the alienation of a friend or a family member, as well as the thousand other daily contradictions that are routinely experienced throughout a life time, suffering happens to all of us.
And so, the question might ought not to be phrased, "Will I suffer", but rather, "What will I do when I suffer?" And, the answer to that question makes all of the difference. In our series this week, we will talk about suffering and we will meet those who have not only survived it, but have found blessing and grace because of it.
