As today's guest tells us in the late 1950's, the new genre of rock and roll had a great deal of confidence. And so did those who sang the music. He was no exception. Riding high on his stellar fame, the world was his proverbial oyster. He had groove; he had drive; he had style.
But, like it often is, the outside was a mere veneer. In the end, all was not it was cracked up to be. He was hungry, soul hungry, and it gnawed deep into his heart. Trouble was, it would take a while before he realized it.
