Fantasy literature may well be eclipsing all other forms of literature currently being consumed by the reading public. Why? What is its appeal? Are there strata within the fantasy genre that separate the good from the bad from the ugly? What about the burgeoning occult faction of this genre? Could it be morally, emotionally, or spiritually harmful to us or our children? To what extent can this literature shape our children's worldview and that of our culture?
