Day care has become a multi-million dollar business with a majority of America's children using its services on a regular basis. Some claim this is due to the political and ideological maneuvering of the cultural elite - an elite which includes sociologists, media pundits, corporate managers, and professionsl day care companies.
Is day care really good for our children? What has caused this shift in out of home care? What has convinced mothers that someone else is more capable of caring for their child's needs than themselves? What does the research really indictae? And is there an attempt to keep the truth about day care out of the public eye?
