Proverbs 22 verse 6 says "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it." What does it mean to "train up a child?"
How is it accomplished? What part does the father play in the training since mom usually spends more time with the child especially in those early, formative years? And, what about discipline, including both the self-mastery kind and the corrective - where does it fit into the proverb proscription?
Our guests will help us reflect on this important aspect of parenting.
